I visited Atlanta this past weekend and did a whole lotta 'splorin.
One of the places I wound up over the course of the weekend was Atlanta's craft swap/party at the Young Blood Gallery. There were stations with materials and instructions for making several quick, crafty projects as well as a swapping area ...... pretty nifty.

I ended with scrap fabric and pages from old books (among other things), so I made some patches today.

I got the stomach bug the other day (or came down with food poisoning).




I'm feeling all better now though.

I recently acquired a fair number of disposable cameras.
so I brought one to work:

Yesterday the bike co-op had a Cinco de Mayo themed "border dash" race.
(yes, I do realize that it wasn't actually on cinco de mayo, but we had tacos and margaritas none the less.)

.... I ended up helping with the prizes for the race.

This was first place:

it was filled with tortilla chips, hot chili peppers, and lotsa mini tequila bottles.

. I wish I could post pictures from the afterparty/race but I did not take any, so I can't.

It was some fun stuff though.
